Is it really possible to get a good workout in just 10 minutes? You bet! I know… most of you think more is better. But not if more is 30 or 40 minutes of slow, low intensity work. The key word is “intensity.” If you are trying to make your muscles firmer, your heart stronger and you’re short on time, this is the type of workout your body will thank you for.
In this workout, I picked 3 of my favorite exercises that are centered around the core and put them into an interval circuit.
You’ll do 3 exercises:
- Crab Walk + Push Up
- Criss Cross Crunch (it’s more like an alternating get up, but I this is a catchier name)
You do each exercise for 50-seconds, with 10-seconds in between. Then repeat all 3 exercises 2 more times for a total of 9 minutes of work. With the recoveries in between, the workout is just over 10-minutes long.
Don’t worry, I offer modifications if you can’t do all those Burpees.
Try this workout the next time you’re short on time and can’t make it to the gym.
